What exactly are the Akashic Records?

The Akashic Records are not a physical thing, but rather a universal energy hosted in the Pleiades (a star cluster). Each person has their own record, or frequency, that is housed in the Akashic Records, and the lords of the Akashic Records are always beaming love and light and wisdom to you.

What are you doing in a reading?

Channeling the cosmic guidance you need in the moment. An Akashic Reading is so much more than just a “reading” or divine guidance—it is a tuning of your energy. Yes, the exact guidance you need to hear in the moment is what comes through, but I’m tapping into a universal energy that is vast and expansive and also the tiniest speck in the totality of the universe.

You can physically feel the energy, and the messages are just a transmission of joy and love. The records are a container of energy. And your specific energetic frequency is housed in your “record.” This line of energy goes from your crown chakra straight to the stars. I like to think of that line of energy like strings on a guitar. I’m plucking your particular string to play the music of your heart, and realign you with the magic that is already inside of you. I’m tuning the guitar string of your energy and bringing it back to its divine nature.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your beautiful self and an open heart. Believe. All you need to do is believe. And even if you don’t, I believe enough for you that it doesn’t really matter.

Is this like a psychic reading you see on TV?

No, the records aren’t predicting the future, and sometimes they don’t like to share the past. Especially if it isn’t going to add to your present. Sometimes, yes, you do need to work through blocks of a past life, but not often. Often what you need to hear is love and support, and that you aren’t alone in this sometimes scary world. 

 What if something really weird comes through?

You found Spirit Mamas because you need cleansing and guidance, and we are here to do both for you. I hope you leave these sessions lighter than you came into them, and that they bring you as much joy as they do me. It is truly an honor to read your records and something I take immense pride in. Anything you share or we talk about during the session is completely private and will not be shared with anyone. Ever.

Do I need to do anything to prepare beforehand?

I want you to be comfortable and at peace during and after this reading. If that means you want to bring your crystals or have a cup of tea, that’s fine, too. If you’d like to meditate beforehand or even after, you are welcome to. However you’d like to enter and exit the space is fine by us. Just make sure to do some grounding work afterward if you are feeling lighteheaded or like you are floating in the clouds. I can help you with that. Drink plenty of water afterward. Sometimes I will provide guidance for how to wash your aura or cleanse your chakras. As with anything in the session, you can take it or leave it. It’s entirely up to you.
